Peke A Tzu Rescue's Available Dogs

Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

Grady
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on January 26, 2008. My name is Grady.
I am a sweet 14 pound, red/black, 2 year old smooth coated Brussels Griffon boy. I was born on January 4, 2006. I am a retired breeder.
I am a very energetic little boy and am adjusting quickly in my foster home. I am a bit shy and sometimes need a bit of patience before I will join you in your arms. Once being held I relax and enjoy. We are working on this and before you know it I will be leaping into everyone's arms that visit just like the other pupsters. I enjoy all of the pupster's company and it is so much fun to race around in our play area with them. Oh, I forgot to mention that I only have one eye, but this does not slow me down a bit! I am looking forward to my new home where I will be lavished with love. I will need a fenced in yard and no small children please.
I am working on leash training and house training and do well during grooming.
I am Neutered, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $350.

I weigh 10 pounds and am a beautiful Affenpinscher girl. I am 7 years old, have retired from the breeding world and was born on April 25, 2001.
I am surely enjoying life here. Soft beds, good food and friends to play with. I am still a bit shy, but know that with all of the love surrounding me I will overcome this. I do enjoy being held and cuddled. Bedtime is my favorite time of the day for I get to snuggle close to Mom and Dad. I am looking forward to my new home where Mom/Dad can be home with me most of the time. I would do fine without another playmate for at times I can be a bit alpha. A fenced in yard is a must and no children please.
I am house trained, working on leash training and do well during grooming.
I am Spayed, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $275.

I am a bit shy with people I do not know, but once comfortable I will cuddle right into your arms. I love all of the other pupsters here and am always ready for playtime. I am still investigating what toys are all about, but I sure love the soft beds and yummy treats! I can't wait to meet my Forever Mom/Dad and hope that they can be home with me most of the time. A fenced in yard is a must and no children please.

I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on February 17, 2008. My name is Miles.
I am an energetic, 14 pound, 1 year old, black and white Shih Tzu boy and was born on September 1, 2006. I am a retired breeder.
Mom says my name fits me so well for I can go miles and miles before I tire. I enjoy all of the other pupsters here and playing is my passion. I do slow down on occasion to give Mom and Dad a quick kiss and then off I go again. The toys are great, especially the soft ones...did you know you can tear those apart? I would love a home with another pupster to play with. It would be great if Mom/Dad could be with me as much as possible and I definitely need a fenced in yard to romp and play in.

I am a beautiful 2 year old, black, 12 pound Shih Tzu girl. I was born on March 1, 2006 and am a retired breeder.
I am a sweet little girl, but still quite shy. If approached too quickly and picked up I will cry out in fear. Mom said this will go away in time. Once in Mom or Dad's arms I relax and enjoy the love that they bestow upon me. I do enjoy all of the other pupsters, love playing and snuggling with them, but can sometimes be a bit "bossy". Toys are the greatest, but when the food or treats come out everything else gets pushed to the back of my mind. I am looking forward to my Forever Home where I will have a fenced in yard to romp and play in, a Mom/Dad that will cuddle and hold me close and another pupster to play with. No children please.

I am a very cute 6 pound red and white Shih Tzu boy with black tipping. I was born on December 1, 2007. My sister Champagne and I came into rescue for our Mommy died unexpectedly and we needed special around the clock care.
I am a loving, kissy little boy who loves laptime and lots of belly rubs. I so enjoy all of the other pupsters and though I may be small I can keep up with the best of them during playtime. I would love a home where I have another pupster to play with and a Mom/Dad that could be home with me most of the time. I definitely need a fenced in yard and no small children please.

Honey
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on March 15, 2008. My name is Honey.
I am a beautiful blonde Pomeranian and weigh 10 pounds. I am 8 yrs. old but have the energy and personality of a 2 yr. old. I was dumped in my foster Mom's neighborhood by my previous owners.
I am super dooper happy and have a bounce in my Pom Prance. I do adorable Pom twirls when it is time to eat or get a treat. I love to give kisses! I am a calm, gentle and polite little girl. I like the other pupsters and cats here in my foster home. I enjoy cuddling and watching tv with my foster Mom and Dad. I enjoy exploring the fenced yard and would be thrilled if my forever home had a fenced yard too. I am scheduled for a dental so my teeth will be pearly white. I do have a tiny cataract forming in my right eye, but it does not diminish my vision. My foster Mom says I can not be placed in a home with small children as she does not know my background. I am on Oma's Pride raw diet now with yummy turkey and veggies!
I am perfectly house trained and do well during grooming.
I am Spayed, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $275.

I am a tri-colored Pug Chihuahua mix and weigh 6 pounds. I was born on January 8, 2008.
I am your typical happy, loving, kissy puppy. I thoroughly enjoy all of the other pupsters and have made so many friends. I love to have Mom and Dad hold me close and belly rubs are my passion. I do, at times get in a bit of trouble. Shoestrings are irresistable and wagging tails are just waiting for me to grab. I would love a home with another pupster to play with and a fenced in yard would be great.
I am working on leash training and house training and do well during grooming.
