Peke A Tzu Rescue's Available Dogs

Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

Kaiser
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on March 27, 2008. My name is Kaiser.
I am a tri-colored Pug Chihuahua mix and weigh 6 pounds. I was born on January 8, 2008.
I am your typical happy, loving, kissy puppy. I thoroughly enjoy all of the other pupsters and have made so many friends. I love to have Mom and Dad hold me close and belly rubs are my passion. I do, at times get in a bit of trouble. Shoestrings are irresistable and wagging tails are just waiting for me to grab. I would love a home with another pupster to play with and a fenced in yard would be great.
I am working on leash training and house training and do well during grooming.
I am UTD on shots and on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $500 ($150 will be refunded at time of neuter). Neuter agreement will be required at time of adoption.

Lorre Adoption Pending!
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on October 30, 2007. My name is Lorre.
I am a beautiful blonde and white, 11 pound Shih Tzu girl and am 2 years old. I was born on October 9, 2005.
I am a retired breeder.
I am rather shy when I first meet you..just approach me slowly, talk softly and I will finally grant you permission to love all over me. I even dish out some really slurpy kisses! Hey, did you know about these things called toys? Well, I'll tell you what they are something else. I love to toss them in the air and run around with one in my mouth. Also, all of the pupsters here are so much fun to romp and play with. I just can't wait until I find my very own Forever Home where Mom/Dad can be home with me most of the time, I have a fenced in yard to play in and another pupster friend would be great.
I am working on my house and leash training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and on Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $350.

Jeremy Adoption Pending!
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on February 17, 2008. My name is Jeremy.
I am a sweet 4 year old, 11 pound black Shih Tzu boy and was born on October 3, 2003. I am a retired breeder.
I am just packed full of love. I enjoy being held, cuddled and kissed and belly rubs are the greatest! I enjoy the company of my foster sisters and brothers and can keep up with the best of them during playtime. Toys are plentiful here, beds are plush and love surrounds me. I would like a home where I would have another pupster to play with, a Mom/Dad that are home with me most of the time, a fenced in yard and no small children please.
I am working on house training and leash training and do well during grooming.
I am Neutered, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $275.
We appreciate Kakki and Randy Smith of Michigan for lovingly sponsoring Jeremy.

Jewel Adoption Pending!
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on July 5, 2007. My name is Jewel. I am a very sweet, 7 year old, 7 pound, blonde and white Shih Tzu girl.
I was left at a humane society. People were nice to me there until I could join the other PATR pupsters. Lapsitting is my favorite past time and I would stay there 24/7 if Mom and Dad would let me. I get along with the other pupsters, but can sometimes be a bit nippy with them if things do not go my way. I enjoy all of the nice warm beds and love to play with the toys. I love my belly rubs and cuddles and give super Shih Tzu kisses. I would love a home where Mom/Dad could be home with me 24/7. I wouldn't mind being the one and only and then I wouldn't have to worry about sharing laps. I prefer no children and need a fenced in yard.
I am house trained and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and on Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $275.
We appreciate Sandy Gentilucci of Massachusetts for lovingly sponsoring Jewel.

Dana Adoption Pending!
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on September 8, 2007. My name is Dana.
I am a beautiful 6 pound, 10 year old, blue and gold Yorkshire Terrier girl. I was born on February 10, 1998.
My Mom and Dad's work schedule was very hectic and they felt they did not have enough time to spend with me so I have joined the PATR crew waiting for my special Forever Home.
I am a sweet, little cuddly girl who just needs lots of laptime and cuddles. I can be a bit shy at times, but just pick me up, cuddle me close and I am yours forever. I do great with the other pupsters, but am a bit more "sedate" than some of them if you know what I mean. I would love a home where Mom/Dad could be with me 24/7 and a fenced in yard is a must. I prefer no children please.
I am working on my house training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, UTD on shots, tested HW-, on Heartworm Preventative and on Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $275.

Champagne Adoption Pending!
I was welcomed into the rescue and my angel's loving arms on January 31, 2008. My name is Champagne.
I weigh 6 pounds and am a beautiful red, silver and black Shih Tzu girl. I was born on December 1, 2007. My brother Caviar and I came into rescue for our Mommy died unexpectedly and we needed special around the clock care.
Let me tell you I am packed full of energy! I am on the go constantly and Mom says I do not listen well at times...have no idea what she may be talking about. I do know that I can give the best kisses ever and demand my laptime and belly rubs. I love the other pupsters here, but do get in trouble on occasion when I pull too many tails. I would love a home where Mom/Dad can cuddle and love on me 24/7. I will not be able to go to my Forever Home until mid June. I have these things called hernias that need to be repaired and this will be done when I am spayed (prior to adoption). I will need a fenced in yard, would love another pupster to play with and no small children please.
Please click on Champagne's Video Clip to see me playing with my brother, Caviar!
I am working on leash training and house training and do well during grooming.
I am UTD on shots and on Heartworm Preventative and Flea Protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption donation is $600 since I will be spayed prior to adoption.
