I am a 12 pound, 11 year old beautiful black and white Shih Tzu girl. I was born on December 26, 1996. I had lived with my Mom since I was a puppy, but her work schedule became so full she did not have much time to spend with me. I am a very sweet little girl, but a bit nervous when meeting strangers. Once I know you well I give the best Shih Tzu kisses ever. I get along wonderfully with all of the other pupsters and just love to sit in Mom's lap for lots of cuddles and kisses. When I arrived I had 3 deep seeping growths on my tail and boy, did they hurt. In the end to relieve my pain and to assure that all growths were removed in the least painless way, we decided I was going to have a new look! I feel so much better and I can now wag my "short" tail without feeling any pain. I am enjoying life here at PATR, but am looking forward to my very own special home. I will need a fenced in yard, a home with no small children and a Mom/Dad that can be with me all day long. I am house broken, leash trained and do well during grooming. I weigh 15 pounds and am 11 years old. My owners released me to PATR because they could not afford my vetting care. I am a loving little girl, although a bit nervous with strangers. I enjoy my lap time and kisses and cuddles. I get along with the other pupsters, but would really prefer to be the one and only. I have been diagnosed with cushings disease, but am doing well. Mom and Dad have chosen the holistic approach to treat the cushings due to the liver damage that can be caused with conventional medications for cushings. I would love to have a Mom/Dad that is home with me 24/7. I would do best in an adult home. I can't wait to find my special home. I am house trained, leash trained, and do well during grooming. Patience is the key with me, and once I know that you will be gentle and loving I warm up to you, relax and enjoy your gentle touch. I love the other pupsters here and keep up with the best of them during playtime. A home where Mom/Dad could be with me all of the time would be wonderful. A fenced in area is a must. I am an 8 year old, 10 pound, very handsome gold and white Shih Tzu boy. I was born on May 12, 1999 and I am a retired breeder. I am such a sweet little boy. Mom calls me her little cuddle bug. Guess that is a good description for I sure am an expert at cuddling. I enjoy all of the other pupsers and they are being so kind to me. They have taught me how to chase a ball and how to toss toys in the air. I love to race around in the play area with all of my brothers and sisters and soak up the sun during my naps. I do have hair loss on my ears and tail. Bloodwork was done to rule out thyroid problems. I know there is a wonderful home out there for me where Mom/Dad will give me all kinds of love. Another brother/sister would be nice and I would enjoy a fenced in play area. I am working on house training and do well during grooming. I enjoy playing with the toys, snoozing in the beds and romping and playing outside. I am very alpha and would prefer a home all by myself. I have lots and lots of love to give my new Mom and Dad.
