If you are interested in adopting a Pupster, please review the links below. |
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal! |
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

I am a beautiful 12 yr old black Pomeranian girl and weigh 10 lbs. I was born on December 25, 1998 and am a retired breeder. I am still a bit unsure about life and those around me. Patience is the key with me, and once I know that you will be gentle and loving I warm up to you, relax and enjoy your gentle touch. I love the other pupsters here and keep up with the best of them during playtime. A home where Mom/Dad could be with me all of the time would be wonderful. A fenced in area is a must. Because I am a senior, my diet is an extremely important factor in my overall health. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet. I am working on my house training and do well during grooming. The tooth fairy visited me in December 2008 when I had my dental and I have 28 teeth left. I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on Interceptor for monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. My last bloodwork was done on 12-30-08. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300. |

I am an 8 lb, 4 yr old, red sable Pomeranian boy. I was born on January 27, 2008. My Mom and Dad could no longer afford to care for me and dumped me at a shelter so here I am enjoying life with the PATR crew. I am a bit shy when I first meet you, but once I get to know you I will share my sweet Pommy kisses with you. Mom says she thinks I have energized bunnies implanted in my body. I don't understand what she could be implying. Must be because I go and go and go! I love all of the other pupsters and playtime is my passion. I think there are built in springs in my feet also for I can jump really high. I would love a home with another pupster to play with, a Mom/Dad that could be home with me most of the time, a fenced in yard is a must and no children please. To maintain my excellent health, my diet is an extremely important factor in my overall health. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet. I am working on potty training and do fairly well during grooming. I am neutered, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on Interceptor for monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $375. |
