  • Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am an adorable, handsome 15 yr old, 11 lb male apricot poodle.
I was found as a stray, so horribly matted that I could not see. I am still extremely shy, but surely love my Mom. I need a home where I will receive total one on one. I am a sweet little boy that is just waiting for my special home. I just need someone who has a lot of patience and love to give to me.
Because I am a senior, my diet is an extremely important factor in my overall health. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am house trained, still uncomfortable on leash and behave well during grooming.
The tooth fairy visited me in February 2011 when I had my dental. I am neutered, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on Interceptor for monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.

I am a handsome 13 lb, 8 yr old Apricot poodle boy. I was born on June 13, 2003. I am a retired breeder.
I am rather shy, but am beginning to get more comfortable as the days go by. I have such a sweet, gentle personality and Mom says she just adores me...whatever that means unless it has something to do with getting kisses right on the end of my nose. I get along well with all of the other pupsters, enjoy relaxing in the sun and loving the freedom to do whatever I want to do. I would love a home where I will be pampered beyond measure and a fenced in yard is a must.

I am working on leash training and house training and do well during grooming.
The tooth fairy visited me in January 2009 when I had my dental and I have 29 teeth left. I am neutered, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on Interceptor for monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.
We appreciate Carla Morgan of Pennsylvania for lovingly sponsoring Barney.

I am a 5 yr old sweet black Poodle boy. I weigh 10 lbs and was born on July 18, 2006.
I was turned over to PATR by a breeder due to kennel down sizing. My Daddy was a chocolate Poodle and my Mommy was an apricot Poodle. I am packed full of energy and am very, very curious. I seem to hear the word no a lot. I just can't help myself. So many things to explore! I do like my lovin' and enjoy all of the toys. I can't wait to find my very own special home.

I am working on my potty training and do fairly well during grooming.

I am a handsome, 14 yr old, 10 lb chocolate poodle boy. I was born on February 7, 1998 and am a retired breeder.
I love all the cushy beds and yummy food here. I haven't quite figured out exactly what to do with all of the toys, but have just been sitting back watching everyone. I get along fine with all the pupsters and do well with Mom and Dad as long as I am not approached too quickly. I am a bit on the shy side, but once in your arms I snuggle right in. I would love a home where I would be lavished with love and affection. It would be nice to have Mom/Dad home with me 24/7. I prefer no children and need a fenced in yard.

I am a sweet, 13 yr old, 10 lb silver Poodle girl. I was born on January 27, 1999.
I am a retired breeder. Upon arrival I was rather shy, but with tons of love from my Foster Mom I emerged from my shell and am lovin' life. I really enjoy my laptime and snuggles. My favorite time of the day is romping and playing with the other pupsters. Sometimes I have to coax them a bit, but before you know it they are following my lead. When I had my dental I had to have 21 teeth pulled and only have 5 teeth left now, but that does not slow me down when I eat. Love that food! It would be nice to have Mom/Dad home with me 24/7 and another pupster to snuggle. I also would like a fenced in yard and no small children please.
