  • Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am a beautiful black and gold Yorkshire Terrier girl. I weigh 6 lbs and am 11 yrs old. I was born on November 24, 1999. I am a retired breeder.
Things are wonderful here and I am enjoying life to the fullest. There is always something exciting happening and I make sure I am right in the middle of it. I try to help Mom whenever she is taking pictures, working on the computer and jump right in for my lovins'. I get along great with the other pupsters and enjoy our playtimes. I just know there is a wonderful home out there for me where I will be loved forever. It would be nice to have a Mom/Dad that could be home with me most of the time, another pupster to play with and a fenced in yard.
Because I am a senior, my diet is an extremely important factor in my overall health. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming. I am looking forward to finding my special home.
The tooth fairy visited me in February 2011 when I had my dental. I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on Interceptor for monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. My last bloodwork was done in February 2011. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.

I am a black & gold, 2 yr old, 4 lb, Yorkshire Terrier girl. I was born on January 13, 2010 and have retired from the breeding world.
Mom says I am as cute as a little bug...whatever that means. I would sit in your lap all day if you would let me and I share my kisses freely. I am an alpha girl and need discipline & supervision when around other dogs. I demand all of the attention and will jump on the back of another dog if I get jealous. I would prefer a home by myself or if placed in a home with another pet I would prefer that my Mom/Dad have prior Yorkie experience and would be able to handle my "attitude" in a positive manner. I would love a home where Mom/Dad could be home with me 24/7 and I prefer no children.

I am a 7 lb, 10 yr old silver and gold Yorkie boy who is packed full of energy. My 9 yrs do not slow me down a bit. I was dumped at a shelter with no where to go, but here I am safe and sound searching for my special home. When I first meet you I tend to be a bit shy, but once comfortable my true personality emerges. I am a very sweet little boy who wants nothing more than lots of laptime and cuddles. I do well with the other pupsters, but am more of an observer than a player. My preference is to be with Mom or Dad wherever they are at. I would love a home where Mom/Dad could be home with me most of the time. A fenced in yard is a must and no small children please.

I am a very sweet, 6 pound blue and gold, 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier girl. I was born on December 5, 2000. I am a retired breeder.
When I arrived I was a bit shy, but once comfortable my loving personality emerged. All I have to do is look at Mom with this forlorn look in my eyes and it is instant lap time. I do well with the other pupsters. When I want something I definitely let Mom know with my little bark. I'm dreaming of a home where I would be comfortable being the one and only or have a sister/brother that is about my size. I would also enjoy a fenced in yard and prefer no small children. Hopefully Mom/Dad could be home with me most of the day.

I am a sweet 10 lb silver and gold Silky Terrier girl. I am 3 yrs old. I was abandoned by my owner at a shelter.
I love Mom and Dad and enjoy lots of cuddles and kisses. The best part of my day is when I get to romp and play with all of the pupsters. I have to be supervised during playtime because at a very young age my right femur was fractured from the knee to the pelvis and there is an overlap in healing angulation. I often walk with a limp and care needs to be taken so that I do not stretch my cruciate ligament. I do well with all of my pupster friends, but there are times when I can be a bit bossy. I would love a home where Mom and Dad can be home with me 24/7. A fenced in yard is a must and no children please.
