Another wonderful feature that is very popular with our fellow
rescue friends and petsitters is that the velcro is turned lengthwise to allow
each belly band to fit a range of waist sizes. One belly band will fit 4 different
waist sizes!

Belly Bands are ideal for male furbabies who are "marking your home", incontinent or need help with housetraining. Belly Bands are made of excellent quality 100% cotton material and contains fiberfill inside to aid with liquid absorption.
Peke A Tzu Rescue recommends using half of a ladies
incontinent pad inside the band for maximum absorption.
We prefer the maximum size Options brand pads found at Walmart in the feminine products aisle. We do NOT use or recommend the "waterproof
liners" inside of belly bands because it traps the urine inside the band up against
the dog's skin and sheath. This can burn the skin and stain the dog's hair. The waterproof barrier will also hold heat in and become uncomfortable for your little boy. The ladies incontinent pads will pull the urine away from the dog's skin and has a urine odor absorber to keep your baby from smelling like urine.
Our belly bands are machine washable, but remember to close the velcro before
placing in the washer. We also recommend that you stretch the wet belly band, close the velcro and toss the belly band into the dryer. We recommend ordering two belly bands so that while one belly band is being laundered, the second belly band can be worn.
If you have more than one male furbaby and are not sure which boy is your "marker," we suggest putting one belly band on each male and frequently check the pad for urine. This can also give you peace of mind that your male furbaby is not urinating in the house while unsupervised. MEASURING YOUR FURBABY
Measure your male furbaby around his waist on top of his sheath or tinkle toy. Allow the measuring tape to just touch him around his waist. Do not pull the measuring tape too snugly or this will not give you the allowance needed to have the pad inside the belly band. Using that exact measurement, the belly band will give a snug fit without binding or the belly band scrunching up and sliding. SIZES
Select the sizes below based on your measurement. The extra belly band velcro will allow the belly band to fit a range of sizes which is wonderful
for rescue groups or homes with mulitple dogs.
Our 911 belly bands come in 6 sizes:
Extra Small which fits 8 inch - 10 inch waist
Small which fits 11 inch - 13 inch waist
Medium which fits 14 inch - 16 inch waist
Large which fits 17 inch - 20 inch waist
Extra Large which fits 21 inch - 23 inch waist
Double X Large which fits 24 inch - 27 inch waist
Extra Small belly bands are 3 inches wide, Small belly bands are 3.5 inches wide, Medium, Large and Extra Large belly bands are 4 inches wide. Double X Large belly bands are 4.5 inches wide and are available in 3 fabric choices only; paw prints on black, paw prints on brown and flannel solid black.
