Forever Home Update April 16, 2018 Hi Jan, I sent you a text message, but I was not sure if that was your cell phone or your land line. Fiddles is doing well, settling in. He had dinner and some water, took a little nap on the floor and played with our other dog Rizzo. We showed him his new bed and where the potty pads were. So far no potty. Hopefully it won’t end up on the carpet! Here’s some pics. This third pic is our other Shih Tzu, Rizzo. Thanks again, hope all is well over there! John April 25, 2018 Jan, Well, things are going pretty well. There’s been a few power struggles between the two dogs, some playing, some barking, but all is well. Fiddles is still trying to figure out where to go #2. Potty is ok, but he’s been pooping around the house. I think it’s just part of the adjustment. He got a matching haircut like our other dog! Short and cute. Hope all is well in Trufant. John April 29, 2018 Hello Jan, Well, Fiddles has been going #2 outside regularly. He’s been running a lot with Rizzo and getting stronger. He couldn’t get up on the couch before but now he is able to jump up onto the lower couch. We noticed that he likes to find dark places to hide sometimes so we got him a “house.” He’s only barked once the whole time he has been here! John May 30, 2018 Hi Jan! Just wanted to send you a quick note about Fiddles. He’s gained some healthy weight and is much stronger now. When we first got him he was a little weak and had a hard time jumping up on the couch or chair. Now, he’s faster than our other dog and can easily get up and down without any help. We have a good bathroom schedule now. He goes out every morning. Once in a while I’ll find a poop waiting for me in the kitchen when I come home from work but not too often. My aunt is a nurse, she has a patient that was interested in adopting a rescue. I passed on your information. Hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend! John June 16, 2018 Hey Jan, I’m sure you’re getting the 90 degrees weather over there too. It’s super hot here. Fiddles got a nice summer haircut today. He is full of energy, super strong and spending some time out in the sun (not too much!) Hope you are all well there on the west side of the state! John
