Forever Home Update July 23, 2022 Hi Jan, It's been two weeks and we are very happy with Jacksen. I think he is happy with us too. :) He is making himself at home. He's doing so well and we see progress every day. He's such a nice boy. I've attached a pic for you. How is Naomi doing? Thanks, Sara August 9, 2022 Hi Jan, I hope things are going good for you. I thought I'd give you a month update on Jacksen. He's doing great. He is scheduled in a couple of weeks to be groomed so went and he had his tail trimmed so they could meet him. We made a visit to the vet for his heartworm. He likes to go on walks. We've found that he likes to have 3 or 4 short ones a day instead of a long one. He has a favorite bed. The oldest and most worn one I had but he likes it. He's decided that he'll sleep with us too. Right in between. He still is eating two times a day and his weight was the same 13 lbs. He has shown a little interest in a couple of toys. Mostly a brown rabbit. He likes to squeak it and then run back and forth a bit. One of the pics is of a foot stool I put behind my desk so he can look out into the front yard. The other pic is of him sitting on the arm of the couch. He doesn't do it very often. We tell him (as we are moving him) that it's not the best place to sit. It doesn't seem to bother him that it makes me nervous. All in all we think he's a great dog and we are very happy he is here. Sara November 4, 2022 Hi Auntie Jan, I thought I’d just let you know that I’m doing great! I had a good summer. I hope you had a good summer too. Mom is trying sweaters on me for this winter.
