Forever Home
Update

Good morning,
Sabella did well on the ride home. She warmed up to us very quickly. She even slept with us through the night. She is a little sweetheart! Have a beautiful day.
Sincerely,
Carma

Hello, My family recently had the privilege of adopting Sabella (formerly called Tracie) from your rescue, and I just thought I’d update you on how she’s doing! When she first joined our pack, she was happy to have found her forever family, but she was still very nervous. She would urinate out of submission all the time if one of us moved too fast, accidentally made a loud noise, or tried to approach her to take her outside. When one of us arrived home she would cower under a table and growl. She was very hesitant about approaching any of us and would frequently bark whenever we walked into a room. Since then she has grown leaps and bounds! She gets so excited when her people come home. She greets us with happy barks and comes to welcome us with sniffs and kisses. We have been building her confidence by teaching her simple commands. She is so smart! So far she has learned “come” and “sit.". She does not display as much submissive urination and she gets excited when we come tell her it’s time to go outside. In fact, she is so confident that sometimes she appears to think she runs things! She loves to steal our seats when we get up, give us kisses to try to convince us she needs our snacks, jump in our laps to demand belly rubs, and chase the silly kitties around the house until they play with her. It’s hard to get a good picture of her because she is always on the go, but I have attached some photos here. We have been so blessed to be able to give her the loving home she so deserves. Thank you for taking such good care of her until we were able to welcome her into our lives.

Sabella has adjusted well. (Still working on potty training.) Her big sister has been teaching her a few tricks, sit pretty, shake paw, and jump through a hoop.. She is a sweet little girl. She has been such a blessing. Especially during this time. Majority of our day she is on my lap. She has liked her kitty siblings from the beginning. (That is their food on the table.) She especially likes to play with JJ.
