    Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

    Sarina

I am a very sweet 6 yr old, 8 lb red and white Shih Tzu girl. I was born on June 9, 2011.
I am a retired breeder and love playing with the pupsters here.
Please click on Sarina's Video Clip to see me in action!
Are you ready to go on a whimsical life journey with me? I'm a sweet little girl looking for a lovely family to spend the rest of my life with. I'm fun and energetic so please make sure you are able to keep up with my active lifestyle. I am also a sensitive soul so always use positive reinforcement and praise with me. I am still a bit unsure of myself when meeting those I do not know. I am hoping you have lots of love to help me get past my shyness. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be a good fit for a family with small children but another pupster friend would be great. I'm still young with plenty of new things to learn ahead of me. I LOVE to play so that's going to be a great way for us to bond too! I do have to have eye drops two times a day. I would enjoy having Mom/Dad home with me 24/7 and a fenced in yard is a must.
Because my diet is extremely important Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on a monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.
We appreciate Vera Rodriguez of California, for lovingly sponsoring Sarina.

    Vangie

Vangie is the name and being just adorably sweet is my game! I am a very cute 3 yr old, 10 lb liver and white Shih Tzu girl and am a retired breeder. I was born on April 14, 2014.
I know I will stay with you for the rest of my life. If you have another doggy friend at home I will be better paired with another easy going dog like myself! I take a little bit of time to get comfortable but once I do I LOVE snuggling in close and getting lots of attention! Please make sure to always use positive reinforcement and praise and make sure you leave some room for me to squeeze in on the couch and bed with you! I'm a sweet little girl and I know I'm going to make a great companion for your family. Due blue genes in my background my coat is thin and I have very little hair on my ears. Just makes me more adorable don't you think? Take a look at my beautiful eyes!! I'm not going to be a good fit for a family with young children. I just really prefer the conversation of adults! I will need a fenced in yard to romp and play in and if Mom/Dad could be home with me most of the time that would be great.
To maintain my excellent health, my diet is extremely important. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. We appreciate Jean Iovino of California for lovingly sponsoring Vangie.
