    "Money cannot buy you happiness",
have never paid an adoption fee.

    Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am a very cute dark red and black Shih Tzu Yorkie girl often known as a Shorkie. I weigh 10 lbs and was born on January 15, 2021. I was turned over to rescue due to my breeder downsizing her kennels. I am your typical happy, active pupster.
I am a very energetic little girl...always on the go. I keep all of the other pupsters on their toes let me tell you. I am very loving and sweet. I so enjoy being held and cover Mom and Dad's faces with my sweet kisses. I show my pearly whites to Foster Mom and Dad whenever they talk to me and they love it! I get along great with the pupsters and love to romp and play. I would love a home with another playmate close to my age. A home where Mom/Dad could be home with me 24/7 would be great. A fenced in yard is a must. I prefer a home with no children.
To maintain my excellent health, my diet is extremely important. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and leash training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, current on vaccinations, on a monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs.
I am thrilled to be cuddling with the senior and special needs pupsters. It is unusual for PATR to have a dog as young as me. If you purchased me from a breeder you would pay between $1200 to $1500 and then would have the expense of altering and vaccinations which would run around $600. All of my vetting expenses have been met and I feel so good to be able to help some of the needy pupsters who may not find a home with the balance of my adoption fee.
    My adoption fee is $1000.

I am a very handsome 3 yr old Silky Terrier boy. I weigh 15 lbs and was born on December 19, 2017. I was turned over to PATR due to behavioral issues.
I am quite the character. Always on the go and checking everything out around me. I love to romp and play with the other pupsters and toys are my passion. I get along with the other dogs, but can be a bit bossy so will need a home with a non alpha pupster. I also would be contented to be the one and only. I have been working on my barking and reaction to strangers and am doing well. I love to go for walks and enjoy car rides. I will need a home with someone who has terrier experience. A home where Mom/Dad could be home with me 24/7 would be great and a fenced in yard is a must. I prefer a home with no children.

I am a sweet, lovable blue and gold 11 yr old Yorkshire Terrier girl. I was born on May 3, 2010 and I weigh 6 lbs. I am quite the Diva.
I am a retired breeder. I am such a sweet baby just full of love. I want nothing more than to be held and cuddled. I do not interact much with the other pupsters. I am more of an observer. I would love a home where I could be the one and only, but would be OK with another non alpha pupster. Please consider giving me a loving home. A fenced in yard is a must and I prefer no small children.
