    Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am a very sweet 6 yr old, 13 lb black and white Shih Tzu girl. I was born on May 1, 2013. My owners had health issues and could no longer take care of me.
Are you ready to go on a whimsical life journey with me? I'm a sweet little girl looking for a lovely family to spend the rest of my life with. I'm fun and energetic so please make sure you are able to keep up with my active lifestyle. I am also a sensitive soul so always use positive reinforcement and praise with me. I am still a bit unsure of myself when meeting those I do not know. I am hoping you have lots of love to help me get past my shyness. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be a good fit for a family with small children but another pupster friend would be great. I LOVE to play so that's going to be a great way for us to bond too! I would enjoy having Mom/Dad home with me 24/7 and a fenced in yard is a must.
Because my diet is extremely important Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy chickey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on a monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.

I am an adorable blue and gold, 5 lb, 12 yr old Yorkshire Terrier boy. I was born on October 14, 2006 and have retired from the breeding world.
I am just the most lovable little boy there ever was. I do however, have a mind of my own and sometimes love to play catch me if you can. I enjoy all of the other pupsters and love to romp and play with all. I do get in a bit of trouble now and again, but I just can't help myself. I am sight impaired. I love to be in Foster Mom's arms for cuddles and kisses. I am really looking forward to my new home. I would love a stay at home Mom/Dad, another brother or sister to play with and a fenced in yard is a must. No children please

I am a handsome 9 yr old, 13 lb red and white Shih Tzu boy. I am a retired breeder. I was born on April 14, 2010.
I surely enjoy every minute of the day. I love to romp and play with the other pupsters and follow Mom around begging for attention. I just look up at her, give her my famous Culley grin and she turns to mush. Now, I can be a bit over rambunctious at times, but hey, I am just feeling my oats you know. I do have healed ulcers on both eyes so my sight is a bit impaired. I can't wait to find my very own special home where Mom/Dad can be home with me most of the time. I prefer no small children and a fenced in yard is a must.

I am a way too cute 9 yr old black and white Shih Tzu girl. I weigh 12 lbs and was born on June 4, 2010. I am a retired breeder.
Thank you for visiting me..I knew you could not resist my adorable face. It may take me a bit to get comfortable in my new home. I am flourishing here and my personality and energy are coming into full bloom. I am such a sweet little girl and love being around people but I do have a very independent personality. I am not one to spend a lot of time in your lap and prefer to play with my toys. I love to race and play with all of the pupsters and you should see me do the Shih Tzu Blitz! I am packed full of energy and on the go most of my day. I am looking forward to my Forever Home. I am looking for a home without younger children, will need a fenced in area and a pupster brother or sister to play with would be wonderful.
