    "Money cannot buy you happiness",
have never paid an adoption fee.

    Our Goal
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!

    Pupster Sponsorships
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

    Sponsorship Auto Monthly
If you would like to sponsor one of our precious fosters, and would like to have your monthly sponsorship automatically paid via Paypal, please click on the Paypal button below. Many of our Sponsor Parents prefer this option.
If you prefer to pay on a month to month basis please click on the "Sponsor Me" button within each pupster's bio.

Sponsoring one of our pupsters is very fulfilling for you will be able to follow their progress as they heal emotionally and physically, grow to trust and find their Special Home that they so deserve.

I am a super cute 5 yr old, 11 lb, Liver Shih Tzu girl. I was born on August 31, 2012 and have retired from the breeding world.
I am a very sweet little girl that wants nothing more than being held and cuddled. I am a bit shy when first meeting someone, but once I am comfortable I am a little lovebug. I get along well with the other pupsters and love to cuddle close to them during naptime. Of course my favorite place to sleep is with Mom and Dad. I am looking forward to my new home. Another pupster sister or brother would be great. I will need a fenced in yard and no children please.
To maintain my excellent health, my diet is extremely important. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming.
I am spayed, current on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, on a monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $300.
We appreciate Laurie & Brian Lechlitner of Indiana for lovingly sponsoring Caffee.

Cloey here...aren't I just too cute? I am an adorable 2 yr old, 11 lb liver and white Shih Tzu girl and am a retired breeder. I was born on April 3, 2016.
I am searching for a home where I will be loved forever. I am very sweet and love to be held and cuddled. I have the most beautiful eyes that will melt your heart and am always so happy with tail wagging. Lap time is a must for me and I would love to share your pillow and bed with you. I can be very bossy with the other pupsters so will need a home where I can be the one and only. I am hoping to find a home where Mom and Dad could be home with me most of the time. I will need a fenced in yard and prefer no small children.

I am a 10 lb, 5 yr old, gold and white Shih Tzu boy. I was born on September 13, 2012. I am a retired breeder.
I enjoy life to the fullest. Every day brings a new adventure. There are so many things to see and do in this world you know. I love all of the other pupsters and do honor to the Shih Tzu blitz. My favorite time during the day is when Mom or Dad pick me up for lots of cuddling. I would love a home with at least one other pupster to romp and play with and really need a fenced in yard. Mom and Dad told me there is a wonderful home just waiting out here for me. No children please.

I am a beautiful 6 yr old, 11 lb, Blue Shih Tzu girl. I was born on September 8, 2011 and have retired from the breeding world.
I am a very sweet, lovable little girl. I am a bit shy when first meeting people, but warm up quickly. I have lots and lots of energy and enjoy romping and playing with the other pupsters. My favorite past time is being cuddled by Mom and Dad. I can be a bit alpha so will need a non alpha pupster playmate or I would also be contented to be the one and only. I would love a fenced in yard to play in. I prefer no children.

I am an adorable 4 yr old, charcoal gray, 10 lb Shih Tzu girl. I am a retired breeder. I was born on April 25, 2014.
I am a very active little girl. Mom keeps referring to something called the energized bunny. I am a very independent little girl and choose my own times when I want to be hugged and cuddled. I enjoy playing with the toys, snoozing in the beds and romping and playing outside. I love the other pupsters here and playtime is my passion. I have lots and lots of love to give my new Mom and Dad. Please give me a home where I will be loved forever with a fenced in yard to romp in, another pupster sister or brother to play with and a Mom/Dad that can be home with me 24/7. No children please.
