"Money cannot buy you happiness",
have never paid an adoption fee.
Many of the babies that arrive into our care are not house trained nor leash trained. Our main goal when they arrive is to let them know that they are loved and safe. We first address their veterinarian needs and then we meet their emotional needs. We spend endless hours holding them close to us, teaching them what belly rubs and kisses are all about, letting them know that each is very special to us. They are never scolded for having potty accidents in the house, this is the least of our concerns. When we know that they feel safe we then begin to gently work on house breaking and leash training issues. Many of our babies leave our care not fully house and leash trained, but they leave us packed full of love and trust and that is Our Goal!
We all know that there are different areas that we can help within rescues. Some individuals open their homes to the dogs for fostering, others aid in transports, vet visits and grooming appointments. We realize that many of our lives become very busy and there is just not enough time in the day.
A wonderful way for those of you that maintain a lifestyle that prohibits you from physically helping these sweet kids is through sponsorship.
Your name and location will be noted under the pupster you have chosen to sponsor. You will be kept updated on a monthly basis as to how your “Favorite Baby” is progressing.

I am a 1 yr old, 11 lb, very handsome blonde Shih Tzu boy. I was born on February 26, 2020. My breeder planned on using me to make puppies, but I had issues meeting breeding standards.
Mom said God was very generous with the energized bunnies when he created me...wonder what that means? Once I get to know you I love lap time and snuggle right in. I get along great with all of the other pupsters and love playtime. I stay busy, busy, busy all day long. I will require lots of patience as I learn my doggy manners. I enjoy the toys and love to snuggle with Mom and Dad at night. I am a bit shy when meeting people and still a bit unsure of myself at times. I am a verbal little boy so if you are looking for a non barker I would not be a good fit. I am very social with the other dogs and need a younger pupster brother or sister to play with and a fenced in yard to romp and play in is a must. No children please.
To maintain my excellent health, my diet is extremely important. Mom wanted to feed us the very best diet available, so Peke A Tzu Rescue became a distributor for Oma's Pride Raw Food products. I am enjoying a yummy turkey & veggie mix raw diet now. Mom alternates between turkey, beef and chicken raw diets. Please read about my special diet. Mom adds the following supplements: digestive enzymes, probiotics, kelp, DMG and salmon oil for a healthy balanced meal. I hope that my forever Mom/Dad will love me enough to keep me on a raw diet.
I am working on house training and do well during grooming.
I am neutered, current on vaccinations, tested heart worm negative, on a monthly heartworm prevention and on a natural flea protection. Total vet costs can be seen at Foster Vetting Costs. My adoption fee is $600.00 and I am proud due to my youth to be able to help some of my older brothers and sisters through my adoption fee.
We appreciate Vera Rodriguez of California, for lovingly sponsoring Cash.
